Firebreather Race

Here's an awesome mud run/obstacle course race, called the Firebreather Challenge!  You'll be climbing walls, dragging a sled, and slogging your way through the Durham Fairgrounds.  Here's a link to sign up for the race:

There will also be an added fitness class for participants, which will get you prepared for the obstacles and running that you'll encounter along the way.  Send me an email if you're interested in signing up for the new class.

SWEAT Challenge 2012

The results are in!

After a very hard fought battle, concluding with our eight part gauntlet, we have a SWEAT Challenge Champion... Tiger Woods (aka Mike)!  The final tally of the gauntlet was incredibly close with the top three competitors' results as follows:

  1. Tiger Woods- 49 points (3 1st place finishes, 3 2nd place finishes, and 2 3rd place finishes)
  2. Eli Manning- 48 points (2 1st place finishes, 4 2nd place finishes, and 2 3rd place finishes)
  3. Ray Allen- 47 points (3 1st place finishes, 2 2nd place finishes, 2 3rd place finishes, and 1 4th place finish)
As for the final results:

1) Tiger Woods
2) Jerry West
3) Eli Manning

Thank you to everyone for participating and it was an excellent effort all-around!  Our newest challenge, The Obstacle Course, will be starting soon and our 1000 Rep Challenge will be receiving a makeover, so stay tuned for 1000 Rep Challenge 2.0.
